Weddings

A garden that carries the whole day

Ceremony under the trees, dinner on the lawn, dancing until the festoon lights are the only ones left on.

Why Ebony Gardens

One team for the grounds and everything that happens on them

Most venues hand you a key and a supplier list. We hand you a coordinator. Ebony Gardens is a garden venue on the Meru–Maua Road and a full 360° event management team — which means one contract, one budget and one number to call when something needs solving.

Gardens worth travelling for

Mature trees, kept lawns and open sky across three distinct spaces, maintained year-round rather than just before a booking.

Our own infrastructure

Tents, seating, staging, lighting and power come from our inventory and are installed by our crew — not sub-hired and hoped for.

360° planning

Concept, décor, catering, entertainment and the run sheet. Take all of it or only the parts you need.

Built for planning from afar

Weekly calls, walkthrough video and a decision-maker on the ground — the way most of our diaspora clients work with us.

The gardens

Three spaces, one continuous day

Ebony Gardens sits along the Meru–Maua Road, a short drive from Meru town, on grounds that have been shaped and kept for gathering. Mature trees, cut lawns and open sky — with the Nyambene range in the distance on a clear day.

360° event management

Take the whole thing off your hands, or just the hard parts

Six disciplines under one roof. Book the venue alone, add set-up, or hand us the entire event.

Concept & theme development

We start with the feeling you want the day to leave behind, then build the look, the flow and the budget around it.

Décor & set-up

Florals, drapery, table settings and installations — designed for the gardens and built on site by our own team.

Catering coordination

We work with kitchens we trust, and manage tastings, menus, service staff and timing so the food lands right.

Entertainment & MCs

Bands, DJs, dancers and MCs who can read a room — briefed on your run sheet, not improvising it.

Tents, seating & lighting

Full event infrastructure from our own inventory — marquees, seating, staging, power and lighting.

On-site coordination

A named coordinator and crew running the day to the minute, so the people hosting can actually be guests.

How it works

From first enquiry to the last chair going back on the truck

  1. 01

    Tell us the date

Send an enquiry with your date, guest numbers and the kind of day you have in mind. We reply within one working day with availability.

  2. 02

    Walk the gardens

Visit in person, or take a video walkthrough if you are abroad. We talk through the spaces, the flow and what the day will actually cost.

  3. 03

    Agree the scope

An itemised proposal — venue only, venue and set-up, or full 360° management. No line items appear later that were not in it.

  4. 04

    We run the day

A named coordinator, a detailed run sheet and our crew on site from first delivery through to strike.

In their words

Most of our bookings come from people who were guests first

We were planning from Nairobi and had seen the gardens exactly once. The team sent updates every week, handled every supplier, and on the day we genuinely just got to be guests at our own wedding.
